GIFTS POLICY

The managers and owners of UADBB "Kreditų draudimo brokeris", UADBB "Rizikos valdymo specialistai", UAB "RVS konsultacijos", UAB "Skolų valdymo partneris", in accordance with the "Anticorruption Guide for Business", the best practice of corporate gifting policies of business companies, and the recommendations of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD):

  • endorses this Gift Policy as part of the company's resistance to corruption;
  • agree to set an example through their behaviour;
  • informs the company's employees of the importance of this policy.

General Obligations

In carrying out our activities, we comply with the requirements of the law, the Office of the High Official Ethics Commission, OECD guidelines and the provisions of this policy.

Essence of the Gift

A gift is any tangible or intangible item of value (including a representative product of a higher value than is customary for our company) or service that is presented to another person in accordance with international protocol, custom or tradition or is intended for representational purposes, without the expectation of any benefit, consideration or rights, duties or privileges in return.

Intolerable gifts

  • We do not tolerate the giving or accepting of gifts, including gratuitous services, unless such gifts are permitted by law and are in accordance with international protocol, established tradition or for representational purposes.
  • We do not take or give gifts:
    • public sector entities with which we have been, are, or may be associated through written or unwritten procurement contracts for goods, services or works;
    • to business partners with whom we have been, are or may be associated through written or unwritten procurement or other contracts for goods, services or works, unless the provision or receipt of gifts that are in accordance with international protocol, tradition or representation is known to and/or approved by the company's directors, owners;
    • to politicians.

Accounting for gifts

We take steps to ensure that employees report gifts and hospitality given and received to the responsible persons of the company, and we keep records of gifts and hospitality given and received and publicise related information.

Gifts and employees

We inform employees of our policies and procedures for the provision and giving of gifts and hospitality.

Value of gifts

The value of a gift or entertainment item provided in accordance with the provisions of this policy must not enrich, profit or significantly benefit the person to whom it is given, nor must it be intended to induce humility or obligation on the part of the recipient.

Responsibility

We will publicly disclose the application of this policy within the company, and we will report gifts or representative products given or received that do not comply with the provisions of this policy to the competent public authorities.
